How to barge?
I opened stock. I created some order that are now in the "Pending order" column.
I clicked the barge and I selected "waypoint" and then dragged the barge to the warehouse.
The barge went idle and its inventory is still empty...
I don't get how it's supposed to work.

Either this doesn't work, or this is the worst UX ever.
I checked forum and video, nothing of what I see works.

You have to link the Factory to your ship.
After the link, retry what you attempted, should work then.

They changed how it worked, now barges need to be connected to the factory and your ship, instead of the factory and the storage island and then to your ship, realistically you'd need one barge per specific resource island.
Do your logistics, Request what you want. Drag from the barge to the place where what you want is you can chain as many factories and warehouses as you want. Then drag to the carrier to complete the request.

Barges do not know what logistics to pull until they're shown where the supplies are going. That is to say the barge does not know what to take from the warehouse until it knows whose asking.

What was not clear, is that you have create a chain of command:
- Select from stock what you want
- Select Barge, click "Waypoint"
- From Barge drag a link to the warehouse with the tools you want.
- Keep pressing to link all the factories/warehouses with the tools you need.
- Keep pressing back to the carrier.

I think I did it keeping SHIFT pressed to chain the commands, but I spent so much time to figure it out.

Same with Torpedoes I only learned by reading post how the hell they work in this game.

I'm tired sick of games with complely idiotic tutorials like "press Shift to run" "press spacebar to jump" "press cntrl to crouch", I mean WTF AYKM??? Stop wasting my time with tutorials for the most stupid actions that every gamer and first-time gamer already knows before touching a computer!

But the torpedoes and other things in this game could have been explained much better.

I still have no clue what the sonic pulse is for.

Its a countermeasure for missiles like smoke and flares but you have to trigger it manually. It has a short range so its only useful when the "Missile incoming" alert flashes on screen, when used correctly it will destroy any and all incoming missiles. (Your better off with a flare)

They really should redo the tutorial to actually teach players how to play instead of how to run out of cannon ammo on one shield islands.

Just to clarify, this change was needed so that teams can have more than 1 carrier. This way the barge knows which order to fill.

i have the same problem. It won't load the Barge.

Did you get it to work?

What was not clear, is that you have create a chain of commands:
First of all select from stock what you want, create one or more orders.

Then from Map
- Select a Barge and click "Waypoints"
- Drag with the mouse from Barge to the warehouse, you should see a link created between the two, now keep doing that from the target warehouse to the next warehouse or the carrier.
- Keep doing that and make the last link of the chain the carrier.

THANK YOU, this is the answer I needed to make this dumbass system work. Love the rest of the game though.
Its a great game but not exactly user friendly in some regards. It could really do with an updated and in-depth tutorial covering the entire game and not just how to park your carrier and waste 150 credits on the first thing you see lol.

you can also fly over torpedos and destroy them with sonic pulse
The barge resupply has always been one of the biggest issues with the game and more complicated and bugged than it should be. Its one of the top reasons I refunded months ago. Sounds like its still a mess.

A team can have more than one carrier and each carrier has its own open request list. So, to know what to load, the barge has to know which carriers request list to follow. This is decided by which carrier is delivered to next.
