Why the quiver has to take up an equipment weapon slot?!
This makes no sense in a pvp oriented game when you only have 4 slots 2 for weapons and 2 tools.
Honestly the quiver should be in the clothing/armor slot area.
I get that the bow is intended for hunting game animals only ( which is in itself odd since there is no food/drink water mechanics in a survival game), but I guess later there may be crossbows with the same principal?
You can not swap from a ranged weapon to a melee weapon with this set up unless you go into the inventory and equip it. In a PVPVE world this takes way to long to do.

I agree it should be an apparel slot, and not a tool. A stone knife shouldn't take up a whole slot either. You can fit that in a pocket, where as a stone pick ax, not a chance.

What do you mean it's intended for animals? Why aren't you using it to hunt humans lol
The animals give you a lot of resources, but it's silly that the quiver takes up a whole slot.
THE description of primitive bow literally says not usable on armored targets, so I had not used against them. I been wondering that the whole time, but figured the short bow upgrade once i get it might be better. On another note, the npc seem to mover about way faster then I can which seems like a design flaw.

I killed a peasant wearing typical clothes with it. Maybe that is why it took like 12 arrows to kill them lol

The peasant I killed was actually slightly slower than me and I was in starter clothes. I hadn't crafted any armor yet. I just kept circling and they never hit me. I was kiting and shooting when I wasn't strafe/circling
