Please tell me when you played it. I want to know too.
this quote makes no sense. High definition graphics are INCREDIBLY easy to implement these days.
This looks like a cash-grab based on Rust's community's rabid desire for a medieval version of rust.
However this game has none of the love or soul that Rust does. If Rust was a Poptart... this game is "Pop-ems" IFYKYK
Ah yes, judging alpha gameplay as if it were a AAA release from Blizzard, EA, or Ubisoft.
Lmao HD graphics are not easy to create. Doing any kind of art takes time and effort. Plus a lot of this is just placeholder assets for when they get the game actually settled in a good foundation.
Gameplay loop is priority here but I can sympathize with graphics comments. I'm not a fan of photo-realism in games, but here its a sort of uncanny valley where its not good enough to be enjoyable, but it doesn't have the charm or style of the early 2000s. It kept pulling me out of the game when my character or landscape around me looked so rough.
