Vestaria Saga is a game by the original Fire Emblem dude, but it's more similar to the very early Fire Emblems (1-5) than the most recent games.
Dark Deity is a very shameless (not a negative thing at all) Fire Emblem clone as well.
Then there are several games that are more Fire Emblem-esque than clones:
Langrisser I and II
Tactics Ogre Reborn
Wildermyth
Triangle Strategy
Banner Saga
Shining Force
Wargroove
War Tales
Disgaea games
Our Adventurer Guild
Battle Brothers - Highly recommend this one personally, one of the best SRPGs ever made, though it's also one of the more far removed from Fire Emblem tbh.
Relayer
Fell Seal: Arbiters Mark
Troubleshooter: Abandoned Children
Lost Eidolons
Super Robot Wars 30
Grey Heritage Faded Vision
Esperia Uprising of the Scarlet Witch
2nd Battlebros as being a highly sophisticated if grindy tactical game. Not a lot of rpg there but what there is, is solid. Very sandboxy, very exacting at first imho.
Wargroove was fine. Not fireemblem like imho but fine.
War Tales is a Battle Bros like game with a bit of a darker theme.
Tactics Ogre Reborn is not the OG unfortunately but is similar enough in the worst ways (long repetitive cut scenes). I think the "fixes" are a matter of to taste.
Disgaea's gameplay ranges from highly entertaining to super grindy and often quite ridiculous. Recommend reading up strategy guides on how the systems actually work. In particular item worlds in the later versions. (The earlier versions more or less are self-contained and flow nicely.)
I keep wishing for an Enhanced edition for FFTactics but I realize that's a forlorn hope.
