Sweet, no problem, thank you for the quick answer and quick action!
I don't understand how, but a bunch of dead inert traits got added in. I am working feverishly on a fix now.
I was actually kinda wondering that same thing, considering a pacifist unit in a wargame sounds about as useful as a white crayon.
My first guess was maybe it was something like in Tearing Saga. There was a character that couldn't kill human units. Any fatal attack she did brought them to 1 hp, perfect for training up weaker units. The Mercy skill in Fire Emblem is similar. But this wouldn't be so great in SoW since one of the other squadmates could/would just kill the dude instead.
Another guess I had was any kill the unit gets has a chance to automatically become a surrender.
"Pacifist" would be a terrible trait because it would lock a character into being a healer only.
"Technical Pacifist" would be an amazing trait. "I won't kill you. I will however beat the urine out of you and take you prisoner."
