Chapter 14 is the level after the last stand one.
I don't save scum and I don't keep multiple saves. That shouldn't be a requirement. This game is largely designed to not save lock you.
There is no excuse for how much of an oversight this is.
You're not playing permadeath on hard.
If you were, you would know what I'm talking about and you wouldn't have suggested this.
If you are saying the game is impossible because you lost too many units on the last stand map, then that would be false, because permadeath is disabled on that map. You are meant to lose that fight, but it IS possible to win.
You have your chapters mixed up. Last stand chapter is 13.
Check your facts and make some kind of effort to know what you are talking about before trying to advise me.
I lost more than I could have on chapter 14 because I was trying to completely clear the map. I didn't remember that there was no market between 14 and 15.
Does that mistake justify having the entire run shot? Absolutely not. Don't be dumb.
(it wasn't the final boss, but close)
This game clearly was not intended to ever have you stuck.
The final chapter, for example, allows you to buy unlimited arena tokens, which allows you unlimited money and experience, which allows you to buy unlimited area tokens....
An autosave should never put you in an unwinnable situation.
I get what you're saying, but not having a backup save seems very optimistic. Games can glitch and you can get locked out. I dunno, i get the frustration but backup saves seem like a necessity in nearly every game. Maybe i've just played too many bethesda games
To the OP: It's difficult to respond to "Super dumb, patch it" But we recognize the issue, and will think about it.
I'd be offended if you actually knew how to read.
Not much response required. Honestly a market in between chapter 14 and 15 is plenty.
