Fell seal is more like Final fantasy tactics.
Whereas this is more Fire emblem but with individual units formed together to make squads.
(there's probably a more similar game than fire emblem but I haven't played any so can't say)
So it depends what you want from the game.
This game is more gradual strategy and fellseal is more like FF Tactics, where you string together OP skill combos and just delete everything in one attack. I like both games but in FS once you grind a few characters into the godlike realm and try the 5-6 delete combos, it was kinda boring. This game is more like reading a good book. Yeah, the story doesn't change, but you can have vastly different armies each playthrough.
FS is....very Final Fantasy Tactics, gameplay wise. Which isn't a bad thing (it's basically the genre defining game), but it doesn't feel very innovative. It makes some changes, but there's definitely choices that I think hold it back from really being a home run. But, what it does, it does well. Also, I'd highly suggest getting the DLC for it as well; it helps add a bit of spice that was missing from the base game,
SoW feels more unique, though admittedly I haven't played a lot of Ogre Battle so maybe that's just a lack of context. However as mentioned it's a lot more indy; that has it's own charms but may not be what you're looking for.
Maybe Symphony of War is slightly more fun to play, because the controls feel smoother.
Also the lack of AOO means that the enemy just walks around to your rear and hits you there for more damage, andthere is nothing you can do about it.
