Explain to me Zones of Control
Because I sure have no clue what it does. It states enemy squads have a movement penalty when moving between tiles that are adjacent to my foot squads. What does this mean? I thought, in standard tile/grid movement games, that meant the enemy would either slow down or be stopped when trying to move past my units.

However, after watching it multiple times, I can say it is doing nothing for me. Enemy troops just run right past my troops every time. And this makes the Chapter 15 escort hell quest impossible to complete perfectly to get the achievement with the squads I have available.

Yeah, I have the ZoC thing unlocked and enemies seem to completely ignore it for me as well.

Yeah, I have to agree. If Zones of Control is slowing them down at all, it doesn't seem to be enough to make a difference.

Seems to do nothing in my game either. Not sure what even the purpose of that tech is.

It seems to "slow" them down, by needing more movement. But i think the devs took a shortcut and made it "difficult" terrain and thus light units seem to ignore it.

During multiple playthroughs i noticed it seems to slow heavy units as expected, but light units like assassins seem to still have more than enough movement to get past it easily.
