As we know civilization development:
Slavery > Feudalism > Absolute monarchy with some laws > Respublics > nowadays (I'm avoid details about modern society on purpose to both not hurt anybody / start off-topic).
So technically Casimir advanced game world to next social stage by usurping power from weak and incompetent Empress.
While MC most of game is killing good guys (soldiers and sometimes even from his homeland) aside a few missions against cult.
But I still found hillarious that after killing so many his ex brothers-in-arms & doing absolutely same thing like Casimir did (killing someone we don't like just because we can) - MC is threated like a hero :) Despite whole ending is rushed & I don't think devs expected such finale - I found it great and utterly realistic (looser = tyrant, winner = glorious High King
Though I do agree it felt kinda rushed and would've liked to see a bit more of the plot thread of the Nephilims going rampage seduced by power or how it came to be such a case in the first place
I'd personally prefer the female one, the male one is so androgynous he just doesn't fit as a leader.
Do i smell historical materialism?
