Mercenary and Loyalty - Character and choices

Hi

I tried the new demo.
I believe i saw one of my unit gain loyalty in a fight and i think it was a mercenary.
I see in a unit status the other stats but not this one. Is it a hidden one ?
And is it possible for a mercenary that gains enough loyalty to lose his mercenary trait ?


Regarding the character creation and the relationships, I'm left with questions.
For the personality test at the beginning, what does it change ?
Some of my stats or resources at the beginning ? Some dialogue ?

For romance, i understand that i can only choose one character amongst several options, no harem.
Will there be other branching choices ? Or will the story be mostly linear ?
Will there be a warning that i'm about to make a definitive choice ? Or will that be handled inside the dialogue ?

Hello!

Yep, Mercs start with the lowest possible loyalty and therefore cost more capacity. Over time in combat they gain loyalty points and that cost goes down.

The character creation affects starting stats and growths throughout the game.

The relationships don't change the main story, just the ending as you see their lives carry out after the main story's events.

Regarding the traits, i thought it was a bit tedious to have to go consult them in the tutorial menu to have an explanation.
Especially since you have to go through a list of traits you might not have seen before which can spoil you somewhat.

Is there no way to have the explanation appear in a pop-up of some kind when moused over ?
Or is that going to be one of the differences between the demo and the final product ?

Traits are explained right on the spot when looking at a character's status window, we are working on an even better display but for now, no need to hit up the tutorial section for that

It took me watching the tutorial vids to see it, but little tabs that look like : >>>> , can be clicked when you look at a unit, and it will show the traits.

There's 2 endings with smaller differences within those 2 based on your relationships

I'm not accusing you, you make me doubt yourself since you answered all questions except the "is there gay marriage/romance?" in this thread and another one. (Just check the messages above)

You answered my question now thank you. Like I said before, I liked the look of the game, it like Iooks wonderful but wanted to make sure what I support so I had to ask. Thanks again.

so what if a game had no gay match ups, because none of them are gay....would that game be anti lgbt?
Just trying to get it strait,as it seems, not making it the main selling point of a game gets anger(EVEN tho if we did it by real life #s it should only be about 8-10% would be lgbt)it has been stated more then a FEW times in a few places that there are lgbt bonds in game....i support LGBT.....but this is not the way to go about it with developers, or anyone for that point.

Respect is earned not given by a law or a point of view. Together we can stop this hate and make a better place for all to be happy, from being happy, not some forced fake smiles to avoid making someone mad...
