English Localization?

I was so excited to see Yoshiwara Higanbana's store page just to find out that it won't be available in English. PLEASE consider an English localization. Otome fans on Steam are dying to get their hands on new games. New releases are already rare as it is, even more so when it comes to R18 Otome. Seeing such a promising title not going to be available to English speakers is incredibly disheartening and sad.

I highly doubt they'll decide to grace us with an English version of the game (I hope they prove me wrong tho). What pains me the most is that a lot of people's been asking for an English localization of this very game for YEARS already (me included) and nothing.
We'll always have Bustafellows to look forward to at least.

But kidding aside, it is pretty frustrating when there are so few otome titles released and then a Japanese one arrives (and an 18+ unicorn at that)... but it's not in English

From what I've seen from this publisher, they don't tend to do English localizations? If there is a lot of demand for it, a different publisher might be willing to do so, but there would be a bit of work and time involved with that along with cost.

why they release anything on steam that's not in english is beyond me. so many english users play otome & watch anime. it's as simple as having a translator translate & putting in translations.

Piracy issues. It's one of the main reasons why Rejet refuses to localize any of their works. One of their works, Ken ga Kimi, is also available for purchase on Steam but it's only available in Japanese and Chinese
