There's one difference between implementing gimmicks in a fight and having the player react to them in a split second. Every boss fight in the Frontier has been like this, and it's not ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fun. Do you really expect me to dodge red projectiles and stay still to avoid blue ones at the same time? Because that's not how it works. And Master Tao's fight is full of this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
