No achievement for beating samurai -extra?

Just curious if I was supposed to get an achievement for it. Not complaining, but it took me quite a bit longer on that boss than all the previous ones on nightmare (over 20 tries vs <5 tries).

Yes, because this is an extra level. So there are no achievements available. It's also taking into consideration the burden on 'completionist players'.

This game design may not be the most optimal, but for now, we have chosen to go with this arrangement.
