Potential new SMB4 player, Looking for some info...
Hi guys,
I am looking for a baseball game to replace my MVP Baseball 2005 game which sadly doesn't run well on my Windows 10 system.

I was wondering if this game offers some decent customisation?

Create Custom League and play Career Mode?
Customise Player Names and Attributes?

I miss playing baseball on my PC and I was hoping perhaps this could be it. But I like to edit my games, Rosters, teams, Attributes, etc...

Thank you in advance, I'd appreciate any feedback possible.

Also game comes in two versions, Regular and Ballpark edition. what is the difference? Sounds like bonus ballparks?

Thank you

Customization is okay, you can adjust each player, change their name, and clothing, make custom logos and team names. However, my only complaint is that these customization doesn't appear to cross over into Online. Which is sorta dumb, cuz all the same options are available in online mode. What it basically means is if you make a team in Franchise or any other singleplayer mode, you will have to completely remake the team from scratch if you want it in Multiplayer. The even worse part is that multiplayer works by joining a "Season" which is basically player made lobbies that stay live even if your offline. Each season you join requires you to completely remake your team when you join it. So it really limits people wanting to get creative in multiplayer mode.

Other then that the game is pretty decent. Definitely pick it up on sale tho, it's like $15 during sales.

EDIT: Just noticed that once you make an Online team you can use them in any online modes, even draft pick modes. So I redact my statement about having to make it every single time in online. You just gotta do it once in Offline, and once in Online.

Thank you, I will likely purchase the game but I'll wait for next Steam Sale, at the moment SMB4 is close to $80 for the Ballpark Edition. Though I don't mind paying that amount for game I know for sure I like, I don't want to spend it on game I may not get into it, and Steam 2 hour limit to refund is silly because that's just enough time to see if game functions not whether or not you will play it long term.

Having said that, I watched some YouTube videos and I think I'll enjoy it.

Also a quick but rather important question for me...

Is there a decent Modding community? A website like MVP MODS to download MLB Rosters etc?

Is there a MOD to have MLB Teams and logos etc?

Cheers!
