Mic doesn't work in the game

As the title says - my mic doesn't work in the game, tho it's detected in the game settings and works just fine in every other games and apps.

I have the same problem, I got 2 different mics, one from my headset and one stationary; both mics register in the list but none makes noise in the game

I've tweaked the sample rate on mic input, will be present in the next patch, no guarantees, but fingers crossed it helps solve the problem

Unfortunately, the latest update didn't help.

then I'm afraid I can't do anything, only things I can suggest is checking the default device, making sure it's the right one, and that it's not muted
maybe try lowering the sample rate on your microphone? if it's something crazy high like 192khz, maybe that's what's causing it?

additionally, if you can tell me your microphone model you're having problems with, assuming it's not too expensive and it's available where I live, I could try getting my hands on it, and seeing whether it works on my end

Oh, thank you, but you don't have to. It seems to be a problem on my end, and it's on the mic that I am using currently - Steelseries Siberia 350 Headset's mic - everything seems fine (not muted, it is the default one, the sample rate's on 48000Hz), but it just doesn't work. I tried another microphone and it works just fine in the game.

i set it to a lower sample rate and it worked
