VRoid Studio
Animation with VRoid? What programs are there?
Does anyone know where it's easier to animate VRoid models? I like MMD, but I want something simple more, blender is a bit complicated for me, and mmd is simpler - but are there other programs for animating models? And I like "VRM Posing Desktop", but it doesn't have such a key animation, only short movements, which also looks good for a slideshow project.

I really want to animate a 3D character, but the "VRM Posing Desktop" for working with Vroid characters is also good, but does not have animation aspects.

What programs are there for Vroid Animation?

VRM View Meister is i think focusing on animation https://booth.pm/en/items/3796032
there is vrm poser for desktop (paid) and mobile (free with paid content) but it doesnt READ FBX animation files. only exports. it uses loop files and vrma (vrm animation files). it's hard to find VRMA files online :< wish there was an archive site.
Blender's interface is a lot better than it was like 5 years ago, but it's still a huge pain animating in it imo. I still usually just use MMD if I wanna make a short animation with my Vroid models. I think MMD is the simplest, free program you can animate a Vroid model with. The downside is not really being able to use that animation data in a game engine or anything else.

XR Animator by ButzYung seems interesting. (It's free. It's on the creator's GitHub.) It can use MMD motion data and other animation file formats on a VRM model iirc.

wait..... YOU CAN IMPORT VRM MODELS TO MMD?!? REALLY!?!
as Turtle said.

you can convert vroid models MMD i use VRM2PmxConverter_v0.5

MMD is a dancing program that is easy enough to pickup and use. just rather old and you need to find models, stages, songs and animations for. but they are easy enough to come back.
