Custom Hair

So I found some hair that I liked online for VRoid. Made in VRoid. But how do I import it. I see the custom Items and the Import but it's not showing the hair. The hair is a .json. Is it suppose to be something else?

it means the hair has been made in the beta version of vroid before the stable release. there shoul be more files than 1 json right? you need to basically drag and drop the entire hair folder into the right data folder of vroid beta to add it to a model
so
step 1: get vroid beta (official homepage if you scroll down to downloads)
step 2: get the hair in the right folder, open vroid beta and click any model to apply the hair to
step 3: save the model with the hair you want, close beta and open stable
step 4: with vroid stable open scroll down the model selection. between your custom models on top and sample models on top should be a section for unconverted beta models that appears only when vroid detects such unconverted beta models. click it and allow vroid to convert the model. takes a moment.
step 5, last step: converted hair will be in the "all hair" category, save it as custom item. you can now apply is easily to any of your models.

this also works for other custom assets made in vroid beta that dont work for stable (like body textures)
