Freehand hair guide issue

Hey there, just trying to fix an issue which may be simple to someone. Every time I add a new freehand hair guide, it opens at my model's feet, and hair spawns correctly at the head. However, when I put the guide mesh where it should be, it spawns hair way up in the air. I'm not sure what's causing this and idk how to adjust this.

sounds similar to a hair bug i had in 2-3 versions already. you can just wait for the next version update, that usually helps. meanwhile you can use a previous version or any older version of vroid (downloads are on their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ website when you scroll way down and click on a small "past versions" dropdown menu)
