Image export with PNG transparency possible?
Hello everyone,
I've been using Vroid for some time, nice software even if they should add the ability to add various external weapons via 3D files...

I tinkered a bit, but I can't export without the annoying white background.
How do you export with PNG transparency?
Thank you

Sorry for late reply, usually you can just delete the white bg in any paint software[not ms paint]. Hope this help.

use GIMP, its basically free photoshop. has most of what youll ever need.

-make a new project and select transparent background.
-import your image into the project as a new layer(it will autoassign a new layer)
-select all(by color) click color(white in this case)...hit delete.

voila. transparent background. save. and then export as png to your desired location.

Thanks for the reply guys.
But when you start to have white or tending parts, wavy hair or accessories on the character in different positions and complicated and must be done manually.
I use photoshop, but sometimes I have to make several corrections.
it's absurd that a software like Vroid doesn't give the export in PNG with transparency, I'm speechless!

I am confused. Been using Vroid for a couple years now. I do all of my texture editing/creation in another software and have no issues importing or exporting PNGs with their transparency in tact. The Vroid model viewer doesn't do a great job of showing alpha levels that are in the middle range, but the textures themselves remain in tact and show up correctly in other viewers like Blender or Unity without any additional editing to the textures needed.

Can you post screenshots of what your process and what's getting you a white background? I've not heard of that happening until now.

Hi SudoPuff,
Look, unfortunately I usually export with a white background, I don't see any other transparency options.
And I don't know why there isn't one.
I export in UltraHD/4K resolution and it automatically applies a white background to me.
I use Fire Alpaca and I just take a layer from VRoid, import it into Fire Alpaca, draw on it and when I'm in the export/saving mode, I use the drop menu and select the "PNG (transparent)."
