Vtubing With Vroid without camera, doable?

i want to try to vtubing since i'm a lil bit shy to show my face on camera, and i don't even have camera or webcam. so...

are we still able to use the model we create from vroid? and if we do, what apps should we use to run the model? the free Vtuber app from steam?

vroid is just a program to make the model. something else (like vup, as someone else mentioned) does the vtubing stuff and moves the model. Changing the program shouldn't affect importing the model as .vrm files are the de facto standard for most 3d vtubing. OBS is just a screen recorder, it works with anything that can display on your screen. I do remember seeing a video on youtube that went more in detail about vtubing without a webcam but don't remember what it was called. Searching for that might be worthwhile.
I tend to do more modelling than using the models, so I don't really know which software it is that does what you ask. I know it exists, just not what it's called.

you could try being a pngtuber! essentially using still pictures of your model that you can set to toggle to different emotions and open the mouth from mic input etc. there are a lot of resources online for doing it too!
