Western characters?
Hypothetical question, can VRoid be used to make western-like characters? I mean, I know it's for making anime-like characters so I know a rather silly question but can the body-morph options be used to make something like western cartoon characters?

For example, mid-'90s superhero cartoons, Marvel Productions[en.wikipedia.org] and Hanna-Barbara[en.wikipedia.org] action-adventure cartoons etc, the kind of western characters you find in comics or teen-adventure cartoons.

It's just for quickly getting a character model, making the major changed and having it rigged for you. Ideally you're supposed to export your Vroid character and put it into say Blender, where you'll make more changes and make the character how you want.

That could work. There are certain characters I want for SFM and I'm more of a DIY-sort of guy than paying for commissions. Problem is I can't make the 3D characters I want and I tried programs like Fuze, MakeHuman and VRoid.

While I know anime characters and animated characters are different in design, was hoping for a character-making program that can at least help me with he hair and face. I know I can do the clothes myself.

I would pay 100$ for an easy non-anime (more westernized style and maybe a little more realistic but not that much) Vtubing character creation software.

Me too. Closest I can find is Toon Figures[www.reallusion.com] which looks perfect for something I want to do... but I'm not spending a hundred for it. Especially given I find character creation programs on Steam which are either peanuts or free.
