The Backrooms: Mass Extinction

The Backrooms: Mass Extinction

Graphics glitching (sometimes not working) on Index VR (& controls not working?)
At this time there seems to be some fixes needed for Index VR compatibility (probably ok on other headsets). [It works and is still fun]
1) Almost looks like near clipping plane is too close or something about camera setup or depth-buffer-testing isn't quite right. Shader fx are clipped in front of player (like in pool rooms - water can only be seen in the corner of your eye). In other places there seems to be an alpha-shading effect (for normal-map lighting maybe?) render-target copy over top of the scene but it's not aligned to the main render target and scaling is off (not a big deal but better if fixed).
2) Tried all buttons and combinations of buttons and can't seem to interact with anything. Can't pick-up things or interact with vending machines. Sometimes I could get the flashlight to turn on but usually it doesn't show it or won't work.
Other feedback:
I like the atmospheres and mood change when I hear music near by.
Lots of fun to explore. Really cool. For now I may have to stick to desktop mode. ;)

For the first issue, that sounds pretty similar to what was happening on Oculus with the new Unreal Engine plug-in. Maybe it has something to do with the Open XR settings in the app like with Oculus. (I don't own a Index yet to test is the main problem with debugging this)
For the second issue, Unreal has released a new input system that I haven't implemented yet. It's possible that if I do that next update, it might fix the control issues.
I'll see what I can do!
