From your description I gather restarting the game or reloading a save didn't help?
If no, please send us a save and a Player.log from after the bug occurrence (both found in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\LocalLow\Snowhound\PotionTycoon) to support@snowhoundgames.com along with a brief explanation.
