More content ?

Hey guys

Do we know if more heroes and guns will be added down the line ? I think I have unlocked pretty much everyone and saw all the guns (beside the "Endless" rarity of them all) and I think that game could have more lifespan if there were more heroes.

Also, the big fear if that was to be a reality, will they be behind paywalls ? Because while I enjoyed Endless Space 2 I've noticed that each updates brings new factions that need to be purchased, slowly increasing the total amount of money a player need to "invest" in the game.

dungeon of the endless had different pods, and then added heroes later. nothing was even dlc. at $40 they should throw us a bone or a pile

The game is so dead too, there is nobody to play coop with. I got the game a few days ago ago and finished it, the content is too limited.

I really hope that with more contents more players will come back, maybe they should focus on the single player since it's so hard to find a multiplayer crew.

Now I remember why SEGA was familiar, they own the devs who made Endless Space 2 and the Total War warhammers, the amount of content lock behind paywalls are ridiculous. I am actually worried endless dungeon will remain that way, or if anything changes, it will be behind a paywall.

I feel you. Having stuff that should be available from launch locked behind a second paywall is the kind of thing that frustrates me to the point I avoid a company or studio for ever. Shame

Well im old school and i absolutely despise the twitch view hour scam for dlc codes
But i understand its free advertisement for the dev and click baiters have been doing this for years to cheat twitch and youtubes recommended channels system.
Your game is very content lite. You may not want to put extra content behind viral marketing campaigns lol.
The first update was pretty good with a bunch of great bug fixes...the hero roster is still pretty wonky though. Communist is still a ridiculous power house for example while Fassie and Shroom get worse the further you make it as they struggle to generate skill power vs strong enemies.

at least for me endless legends dlc actually felt like expansions and worth it. Not sure about other games

Really not a lot locked behind paywalls sega didn't acquire them until base space 2 was all but done. There dlc releases havent been any different from when before sega acquired them to after. They do big expansions, they do smaller story/culture dlc and then they sprinkle in some free content like heroes or wonders into the games through their website.

Hopefully new stations with new monsters. Fire, Ice, Rock Golem sorta thing. Would be pretty cool.

And an endless mode where you just try to survive the enslaught of the waves until the crystal dies. On a giant floor full of rooms.

Releasing the game with a strong early impression, but weak mid game and basically boring replayability due to lack of content was basically a death sentence for the game.

If the new content is even mid to high priced, noone will buy it.
