Just an fyi, for you and others, even if the game does not support local multiplayer, the Nucleus Coop community will probably add support. There are many LAN and online multiplayer games that can be played splitscreen using Nucleus Coop.
That said, I also hope native local support is added, especially since it was promised early on, kind of lame to back out of that promise. Love these devs and their games though, I only wish the recent strategy games had less DLC and more free content updates.
Hey, thank you for your time and reply!
Local coop is amazing but it's all good no matter what you decide.
If you can't manage to include local coop, I hope you consider having LAN.
Or at least keep your games as they are without needless drm, because as they are they can be played offline LAN via steam network emulation!
I have no internet at home so this is the only way I can play your games multiplayer with my friends and loved ones.
I greatly appreciate it! So please keep them this way!
Bless your family and loved ones, good luck with Endless Dungeon and the Endless Universe!
May settle for LAN, but doubt it.
Hard to imagine, for a game that otherwise seems taylor-fitted for local co-op, what could have made this impossible for a game developed with the backing of SEGA, in 2022.
Hope this is more clear.
