Report a translation problem
As I said in the original post, it wasn't just one attack. I was unable to dodge shelldiver with the crystal bot even a single time during the fight despite often being outside the circle with the hero it was following even at the start of the attack, the crystal bot was at full HP at the start of the fight and I have never lost to shelldiver.
But if you don't see the "improve" in the speed then it is a bug.
This leads me to believe that the speed chip not only doesn't improve speed at all but may actually in fact reduce speed instead. Perhaps there is a negative sign in the code by accident or something. However I only have this one run to go by and didn't bother to test it a bunch, I just wanna play the game I am not really looking for bugs.
I tried to unslot it to check if the value changes, but nothing was on my side.
Are you playing in PC? If this happens again to you, would you mind to create a bug report with save files, diagnostic and some screenshoots?
