What towers do you usually go for?

I never use the debuff towers, their aoe to way too small. Almost never even used the short range damage towers, also because they dont attack the entire room like in dungeon of the endless.

I know the aoes get bigger the high levels they get but I just feel like they rely too much on good turret base location placement which the longer range towers mostly negate.

Most runs just end up being acid tower, tesla ball tower, long range light tower, damage buff and repair. To deal with the shielded blob, I usually just set up so a tower can shoot from the side.
