yes it can. you choose 2 heroes to start out with and get get a 3rd one later. its alright for the most part. the npc wont use their ultimate and you will have to swap to them and use it them selfs. some of them are a bit stupid with ther primary skill though so be careful with that.

Yea, Endless Dungeon is basically Dungeon of the Endless 2, but in a new isometric perspective

You can swap and make your AI partners hold position in rooms, mostly they will follow you around and you can buy new weapons for them etc

Multiplayer co-op from what i see is host-only progress and you take control of 1 of 3 heroes

So far having a blast just like all other Endless series games, plays fine solo

I just got to the middle level (core) playing solo with only two heroes (Janitor + Robocop), and it's been manageable.

While I wish the a.i player would use their Area of Effect abilities more, i've been managing without them for the most part. Honestly, the frustrations are always on me not having enough industry and good Level RNG to survive the lower levels, than the A.I doing a bad job.

Solo can totally be done, but the AI is flawed. AI partners with short range weapons will stand around waiting for enemies to come to them and some characters make terrible AI because they will literally never use their active abilities (or overuse them cough cough shroom).
Can be soloed just like its Predecessor
Just have fun with the difficulty but at least it not as brutal as before

The bigger question is ... if the game is fun solo.
The game plays nothing like the predecessor as it's a different genre.

But form what I have seen, I have to play with AI to play Solo. I also don't understand this "Host Progression". I don't progress if I join other people's games?

Been playing only on Hard so far, it's very doable, AI does a good job of dodging things and swapping weapons depending on element needed fighting enemies. Just think about chokepoints and line of sight and you can manage.

Using a Logitec F710 and SteamDeck, it just plays well perfectly

Hello!
For the progression in multiplayer, we've just published a blog article to explain how it works and what changes we're working on for the future. See here:

Gotta love it when a developer shows up in a forum thread about the game. Good stuff.

I play it with a controller. Tried mouse & keyboard as well for troubleshooting matters.

I know the solo gameplay and multiplayer gameplay very well and play both equally. It is fun solo. Not sure what else I could write about it. It might be easier if you have very specific questions in that regards. In singleplayer the pacing is much slower for obvious reason. So I play it quite relaxing. :lis_alex:
