Hi there! We are working to support cross-generation play very soon (PS4 with PS5 and Xbox one with Xbox Series) and hope to have this soon after release. The team is working really hard to bring this as soon as possible, since we know it is highly demanded. We are also working on cross-platform Steam-Epic and hope to have that soon as well.
We will not have cross-platform between PC/Console and Xbox/PlayStation.

Thanks for this cause I was hoping for this also. My wife and I have the same setup with pc and xbox. Unfortunate. Thats usually my go to buys these days since thats the partner in crime.

Is there any sort of timeline in place? I'm not trying to rush the devs or anything but when you say soon are we talking before the end of the month, before the end of the year or just that it's high priority and it will be as soon as possible?

They are only adding cross gen and not cross platform. Thats how they should have basically said it minus the steam and epic part which is still on the same platform but different apps.

I am aware. I'm playing this on PS5 and my buddy has it on PS4. We've decided to hold off on playing until this gets added. But I am curious as to when that may be.

Agree, ¿why devs dont add crossplay like mostly all games, pc and consoles?, right now its nearly impossible to find a match ingame and its very odd to being looking all the time on discord for a match.

you know that crossplay between console & pc can boost the game sales and keep the player base staying power for much longer for up to 150 % right ?

Yep. I play on ps5, there's no one playing, you have towait alot. How long till crossgen crossplay?
