Just to avoid misunderstandings, you tried all of these?

I lost track if there is another link.
Thank you for your reply. I appreciate that.
To answer your question, yes I have. I also tried several other possible solutions/tips that I have seen in other posts. For some reason my Steam does not register the game as released, regardless of having bought the 'Last Wish' edition. I assume this is the case for many others aswell.
Ah, that is saddening. Doublewise. Sad because you cannot play yet and sad because I thought the information I have provided suffice to fix your issue.
I doubt it gives you any comfort, but I had experienced something similar with a different game. It took half a day before Steam finally registered it. For whatever -unknown- reasons to me, the registration was applied in batches and it happened that the eglible batch was not ready yet. I hope you do not have to wait until release day to enjoy the game. Worse which can happen is that it is an entirely different issue.
While I believe it is the same as repairing the Steam Library, one could attempt to install the game on a different partition, even on a USB stick. Sounds weird, but once it got working the game can be moved back to the main library folder. Something I consider a desperate trump card ~
Why would you assume that?
Thank you for your empathy. Also thanks for thinking along with possible solutions. It is an interesting theory to install it on a different partition. Also good to know that it can take a while (half day like u mentioned). I will peacefully wait I guess. Well...at least the developers created a what seems a very enjoyable co-op game, which is rare nowadays. Can't wait :D
Your replies are appreciated buddy !!
I have read though other discussions associated with the current topic. In those discussions I've seen multiple people with similar issues. It could be that I have been mistaken ofcourse.
I have seen a few users posting threads with very similar/identical issues.
From a customer service point of view that is always just the tip of the iceberg.
Where you have one with the issue who gives valuable feedback to the developers / community manager, you have X more who just have the problem without complaining.
Those customers who do not complain are the hardest to keep, since they might just refund or worse without giving you the chance to fix the issue.
Therefore, be always thankful towards those who put an effort with feedback.
They can make an iceberg visible before you start crashing into it.
I have the same issue. Verifying I bought the last wish. Redownloading it. Nothing. Steam says wait till release. So I check local files. See the EXE. And the game runs. So far im in the tutorial section past launch movie.
It does not sound stupid. Any suggestion is greatly welcome. My Endless Dungeon folder is empty. Steam however says it is downloaded. I tried all the possible solutions scattered across the forums/discussions, but no luck. It allows me to pre-load the game but it simply does not register me as a 'Last Wish' edition buyer. This is literally the only game that has that problem for me.
The developers simply failed on the release. A part of the core supporters are able to play it without any problems or with a simple solution. While others are left in the dark. I am not 100% sure of this but, It would show honesty & transparency if they said something on their twitter about it. But I believe they remain silent for now.
Like i said; I truly hope the best for the developers team and this game, but for now they are making a big mistake for leaving 'Last Wish' buyers in the dark. It is a grave mistake that many developers made. It leaves people bitter...
Your game folder is empty? That is very unusual. Normally that is an indicator that your PC security app is blocking Steam/game from installation. You do not use Norton or Avira by chance, do you?
There is still the option of using Steam console commands, but that seems a tad too overboard right now ~ is there at least a download cache being created for the game?
You would find it within the folder ..\Steam(Library)\steamapps\downloading
Update: come to think of, while I was playing my Kaspersky reacted too when the game was trying to access audio when I connected with multiplayer. If I had the same issue with the game folder empty I probably would try installing while the security app is disabled. But I would turn it on again right away once it got working.
That's not unusual: we are downloading the preload, not the early access. That's why all the solution posted are not working.
The files for every preload are located in the download folder and not in the game folder.
It's a license/access issue steam side.
You are mistaken, and I can tell you that not only with utmost confidence but rather supported by the fact I own the Last Wish edition.
