What are they for anyway?
ps. I usually open all chests and doors.
If so, the only Keys I was ever able to find were the Core security keys. Which, if the core has 0 Security steles activated on your end, that means you got all the Security Keys from the Zones Adjacent to the core.
The Core Key itself, however, I'm under the impression it's the key that unlocks you be able to descend to the part after the Core Boss Fight, as otherwise I don't remember there actually being a key to find--at least after my first time getting to the core.

The UI will not activate if you already have the keys, so the UI is bugged in that sense.
There was an error in the map that was not updating properly, regarding the district keys. But this should be updated since the previous patch. In case you can confirm to us.
* Fixed an issue where the number of keys required to unlock a District is not updated dynamically in the Station Map.
