If you buy the Quest 2 version you'll get the Rift version when it's released as it supports cross-buy. If you wait to buy the game on Steam or HTC Vive then you won't as cross-buy is not supported for obvious reasons.
PCVR version releases, hopefully, in about a month.
Will the game support "cross-profile" on the Oculus/Meta version ? I mean, I have bought the Quest version and I am around 50% of progression. I plan to play it on PC to free up space on the headset and at the same time enjoy better graphics. So, is there any backup sharing between the two versions ? That would be very nice !
Maybe?
This isn't officially supported by Meta but the game uses the exact same save and profile system across all platforms (save for achievements, of course) so, theoretically, it might just work. We haven't tested it yet, though.
Unfortunately, no. We failed their submission process so it's looking like it'll be released next week.
The Oculus Quest 2 version of the game will never support HOTAS for obvious reasons.
