Multiplayer?

Is it? Is it not? If so, what kind of modes could we expect? Would be great to see something similar to Star Wars: Squadrons's Fleet Battles mode in addition to just dogfighting.

If not, why not? The first Ultrawings was fun, but I didn't see much draw to come back once the single player was completed.

I wouldn't mind MP in this game. Just flying with my buddy and waving each other would be awesome. Perhaps some joint missions etc.

Gotta say, would be kind of a deal breaker if there's no MP. Regularly play Warplanes: WW1 Fighters with friends and it's a blast. If this game is single player only, then it's missing a trick imo. A game like this would thrive with it.

I actually jumped on Steam just to find the answer to this very question. Unfortunately, it's listed as single-player, and on other discussions, it's as though the developers just bypass this question. That doesn't give me the warm fuzzies that this will have MP. I had fun with the first one, but probably going to hold off on this one until the MP is included.

There is multiplayer but it's not shipping with the game as it's just not ready yet. However, if you buy the game you can participate in the MP beta shortly after launch.

Thanks for the info. I am just catching some interest in this game and was wondering what kind of multiplayer will be in. PvP? Coop? Both? Cheers, and good luck with your launch.

Initially, we'll support PvP, 8-player dogfighting. Then we'll grow from there based on community feedback, etc.

That is a great start. Does it have to be 8v8? Can you do 1v1, 2v2 etc?
