I have the same issue with gamepad.
For keyboard, move in game by W,A,S,D, but in edit in menu by arrow buttons. Why not allow user can edit move keyboard?

Yes, It does not work with gamepad. It seems the game right now is not polished enough. The menu can only be used by arrow key while moving the character with ASDW keys.

I was going to post the same question lol it seems like this game does not support gamepad yet. My back protests using keyboard greatly though.

My Xbox One controller work fine... Did you check for other controller supported games?

Same issue, controller buttons remapping in steam doesn’t work, keyboard only.
Anyone else tried this game on mac with dualsense? As seen in posts above - xbox controller doesn’t work too. So there’s no sense for me to buy another one like 8bitdo
