Crossword Secret

I was playing with using different filters on the crossword picture and found something. Not sure what it is yet but if you have the file do the same thing and let us know if you know what it means. Far as I can tell right now it's just a bunch of dots

Just found another ending by using a secret map in the crossword puzzle that only shows up after altering the colors. It's an alternate path you can take when trying to find the secret exit but the path is invisible and looks like any other corn, you just don't die in it. Getting to the end provides another black screen with text. It's someone talking to Zardy as if they're controlling him, and talking about the player running around and ruining their plan.

hey im sorry this is a little off topic in this discussion page but i couldnt find any other way to message you. since you seem to be at the forefront of this investigation i think it would be helpful if you could talk with people live in a discord. (also i really want to actually be a part of this instead of an observer) if you dont want to thats perfectly fine, but if you do then accept my friend request and ill invite you (it has about 3 or 4 active members talking about secrets and looking for them in game)

Has anyone attempted to actually solve the crossword puzzle or is it unsolvable?

i think its unsolvable 16 and 17 are a single letter anwsers which makes no sense unless thoose are inside jokes of some youtubers

They're all references to SwankyBox's youtube channel. It's solvavble I just didn't see a point yet. For example the coin one is "SuperMario64"

I made a new discovery. I waited a little while to post this but after looking around in the decompiled game, I'm convinced there's no way to get this secret without modifying the game's code.

I decompiled the game to look for other endings or secrets we may have missed like the whole forest maze ending & achievement. I was expecting to find the endings either in plaintext or encoded but I couldn't find either.
Then I noticed that areas in the code related to endings (like the VictoryTrigger section) all have a line of code that sets a cubemap (ex: GameManager.Instance.SetCubemap("Cable Scarecrow");
So I figured that this is how the endings are hidden in the code. I started editing the game, switching cubemaps with each other and sure enough, they are the endings. (I also found a few cubemaps listed which do nothing at all)

Then I started trying cubemaps that aren't listed in the code. Most either did nothing or gave me an ending screen with garbled, glitchy text. Only one that I tried did something different. When I changed one of them to "Flashlight Model" and triggered the ending, I got a new code which has a video: MBTSLJPLMCLFFBJJVAWM. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=96s6It8toqY

Like the others, he wants proof and I first thought he wanted proof that I found a way to trigger the ending by modding the code. But I thought the descirpion was weird. It asks "did you finish it completely?" the only thing I thought of was the crossword. The number of letters in the code line up with the number of total words in the crossword. (With the FF being 12A and 12D, and the JJ being 14A and 14D) So I believe that the code is made up of the first letter of every word in the puzzle. This would explain how to solve the two one letter words because they really don't make sense.

btw i think 15 is "videos" which makes sense because swanky's a youtuber.

how did i not think of this before if most of the cubemaps are endings why not change the cubemaps on the axe or flashlight to see them (or on the end screens). Good job on finding this

Oh ok that makes sense. But if that is true why is there a victory trigger for completing the crossword? How would you even trigger that in-game?

i digged into it and theres no victoryTrigger for it but only the cubemap which is weird, why would u make it as a ending screen when u cannot trigger it ingame "legit"? So i belive him that you need to modify some ending's cubemap to see this one. But then are there any other endings we haven't found?
