My game keeps desynchronizing

Everytime I launch the game it says the cloud and local files are out of sync.

I used the rebuilt save files and it recovered some medals I lost but in the process I lost all my Chunk coins, which I needed since I haven't unlocked everything yet.

Is there a way to fix this? I always pick local files since I lost progress last time I picked the cloud one (I thought it would fix the problem).
