A few questions
Hello,
got the game recently, finished it a few times, got the true ending with one character and I have a few questions :
- Loading tips says I can incapacitate Chunk, but he always takes 0 dmg, is it because my damage isn't high enough ?
- Do higher difficulties unlock anything besides achievements (costumes, new endings, new items etc.) ?
- I often get stuck on wall corners or pots, similarly aiming is wonky sometimes for enemies near corners or changing elevation, is there any setting to help with that ?
- Is there any penalty to looping indefinitely besides just time spent on a run ?
- Is there anything to the "lore" of the game beyond what's found in Assignment Anya and getting the various endings ?
- Is Axel the most begginer friendly ? Did a few runs with him and the free health and ammo found in the hideout + his strong default weapon seem very very strong to have.

- Unless you have the Stethoscope item (which allows you to see enemy health) the game purposefully won't tell you that Chunks loses health as you attack him.
- You'll earn more Chunks Medallions at the end of a higher difficulty run, but that's about it.
- Looping increases the game's difficulty level by one - e.g. if you loop a "Normal" run, on the following loop the game will be at "Painful" difficulty. In addition, new enemies will spawn on all floors that are tougher than the rest, Chunks gets WAY more aggressive, and store prices will increase the more times you loop.

Boss in my opinion is the most beginner friendly (right click to explode your bombs).

For lore really only the endings and Anya give us any real story but in the gallery (extras menu) some images have descriptions with more lore.

Also there is an ARG that has been solved I think
Thanks for the replies. Last question: if I use Chunk Medaillons to clear a curse during a run and I finish the game does it still count as if I finished the game with that curse ?

I was having the same problem with playing on a controller, if you go into the controller settings, then add a Custom Dead Zone and set it to Square It makes a huge difference

If you are talking about the Heaven Shops blessing then yes. The blessing will take away the NEGATIVE side affects of the curse for 5-15 minutes (depending on what option you choose).

The only thing that determines if you get the achievement is if you have all the curses on and if you complete the run.
