Thoughts about the Mouse man?
Just started playing the game recently and I am loving it. Although, I have mixed feelings about the mouse guy. On the first floor I can easily clear everything and get to the boss without him spawning. However, on the higher floors I end up needing more time to carefully clear out rooms to avoid reckless health loss. The larger quantity of rooms combined with the short spawn limit leads to the cheese man spawning in soon before I've explored the first third of a floor. I can totally see the correlation between him an other stalker enemies like the original mr x or nemesis. Even so, I remember feeling more like "Oh crap, things just got serious" whenever they showed up. But, with ol' whisker face here, I feel more annoyed than spooked when he appears. As I spend more time backtracking to a shop to stall him or taking more time to clear rooms while dodging enemy bullets and Chunks' attacks. This has left me considering crackin open the game files and editing his spawn time, or simply making it soooo high he doesn't spawn, since I can't seem to kill him atm.

Thoughts? Oh and no spoilers please.

1. Chunk's timer is determined by the difficulty. So the easiest will make him take the longest.
2. You can kill Chunks. It won't display damage, but he does have health. Beating him will give you money and he'll stop chasing you for the floor.

I agree. I haven't gotten very frustrated by him, but the implementation of a stalker enemy in a game like this doesn't really work well. I found myself rushing through floors, rather than exploring. If anything, he should be feature on harder difficulties, or an alternate mode.

Well you can see the damage you're dealing to him you have the stethoscope.
You can knock him out on every floor and get a stack of cash out of it (and some other useful stuff later), so it's worth it. It kinda stops being worth it for everyone except Lydia by the time you get so powerful you can do it real quick - by then you're not hurting for cash and can rush any floor, but on higher difficulties you're gonna pretty much have to do it anyway.

Just find a room free of traps and stuff you can get stuck on and circle it, do not go from room to room, he heals himself upon entering rooms.
Only real trouble Chunks can cause you is on a couple first floors if you're doing a Digby or Fuji run - you're not that powerful yet and you don't have much range.

If you have the stethoscope and a diamond weapon (or any weapon that give you money on kill) you get a ton of money out of Chunks if you knock him out with one.
