Silver key location?

In floor 2, you might find a locked hatch in the middle of a room, where the description mentions a silver key. Where is it?

So I'm guessing you need to go through the alt floors and then loop the run back to it?

Yup. Get all the key parts, go loop, and find the hatch again in floor 2. Note that you'll lose the key once it's used.

I lost the key when I looped and then didn't have it when I found the trap door. What gives? Wasted run.
