Once you at the shop, you can choose to save and leave, which saves your current session for that run.
I'll often have about an hour to play with my friends. A level might be done in 15 minutes. Or it might take 2 hours. And if it turns out to be the latter, we're screwed.
So we just play other games instead.
If it is the latter, this is a massive pile of garbage as far as game design goes. And what is up with VR games making you force-quit all the time? Laziness!
Well that answers the question of whether they fixed it or not... at very least it could autosave at the bazaar??? Way to kill your game with awful choices, devs. Do you even listen to your community, or are you steadfast in your vision even if it means the death of the game?
Its probably because they wanted to avoid people able to load a save if they died or failed.
A lot of times I am really in the mood to play, but I can't be sure I will have time to get to the next save point, because it can take hours.... so I just don't start.
It is so stupid in skirmish mode that it is hard to even comprehend why anyone would think it is a good idea.... but it is what it is and there will definitely be times of rage due to lost progress....
The things is tho that the gameplay and atmosphere and presentation are all good. I mean really good. If it weren't for the horrible save system Demeo would rank among my favorites.
Most of the time you can get thru a level in under an hour....and the game is totally worth playing, even if the save system makes it a game you just wanna play alone once in a while.
I am just saying the game is on sale for like 15$ right now.....and it's worth checking out. The save system makes progression and multiplayer kinda useless anyways because unless you have a dedicated group to play with.... I mean who really cares if your dice are blue and gold or wooden when you are the only one who will see them...?
If you just get past the idea that it is a multiplayer game with progression and just play it as a single player game you'll definitely get your moneys worth. If it looks like something that would appeal to you try it out.... At 15$ its worth playing.
The save system ensures that I will never love this game, but I do like it and I am glad it is in my library.
