Can you play Co-op with people using the demo?

I have a couple friends who I would like to play this game with, but I am the only one with a VR headset.

If my friends are playing the demo version of the game, can I invite them to play levels that are not part of the demo? Does that have any effect on game/character progression?

If not, is there a way to share my PC version of Demeo while continuing to use the VR version myself?

i'm pretty certain that won't work at all - the Demo lobby queue is completely separate.

i own it on steam and oculus store, so i can play through oculus while a friend shares my steam library...but i did have to purchase on both platforms for that.

The game does not support Demo to paid gameplay. So no you cant play with paid users via the demo, because its a seperate game.
