Is there no way to skip turn when downed?
When you're downed you can't play any cards, but you can move a couple squares at a time. However, you can end up in instances where all of the squares around you are occupied by enemies or fellow players, which means you can't move at all by the games rules, yet the game insists you spend two Action Points moving. Problem is, you can't spend those Action Points, and thus your turn doesn't end.

A friend and I just lost a run we spent 45 minutes on because he missed, hit me, downed me, and then I was surrounded by Rats. Once surrounded, there were no squares for me to move to, and after examining every option and little doo dad on my wrists I could find no way to skip my turn.

So we had to forfeit our game.

Maybe I'm missing something, but this feels like something that should have been ironed out before release?

Hold down A for 3 seconds and you can skip your turn.

Okay. I'm assuming that's on the trackpad for WMR users then. I tried hitting every button to no avail, didn't think to hold everything for three seconds.

This option wasn't mentioned in the tutorial, was it? I just went through it so definitely didn't sink in if it was in there.

It's not mentioned in the tutorial. I only learned this when playing multiplayer and someone told me.

So, I don't think A is bound for WMR users. When the game launches you can skip the story intro by "holding A". I tried every button on both controllers and none work.

So yeah, that sucks. Guess I'm going to have to create a custom control scheme.

Yes, in WMR the buttons don't work. You can't skip the story intro by "holding A", skip turn or change character at the single player store... :( I hope they fix it soon.

I wasn't able to skip turn using Rift S, I got the count down but then nothing happened.

Even after all these years they haven't added that little instruction to the tutorial. Not at all intuitive. However, I am glad that you posted this advice.
