Where are the save files?

Based on the new update, if you uninstall the game you lose your progression, I thought it's saved on the cloud.

How can I backup my progression then?

I tried to find it but couldn't pinpoint. There are files under the save location and even more files under the app data, but not sure which is the actual save data. I'd like to know as well, odd that it doesn't use the steam cloud.

C:\Users\username\AppData\LocalLow\Resolution Games

Also where ever you installed the game is the other folder.

To me the log files look like the player data is not saved locally but on a demeo server, identified by a unique key, which is mentioned in the locallow log files. Therefore you cant "save" or "copy" your data. And this might be the point why deinstalling/reinstalling the game leads to a savegame loss. I guess you get a new player ID after reinstalling the game .
