Have a good one. :)
As far as the demo goes thou : your have a long way to go to rival warship gunner 2, but you will have the time to refine stuff in your early access period so its all good.
The aircraft for carriers and battle-carriers lost their historical payloads. Torpedo bombers didn't get torpedoes, strike fighters didn't get bombs or rockets, and even some of the modern multi-roles didn't get their Anti-ship-missiles.
It literally felt like they waited to work on aircraft towards the end after they finished doing the helicopters and V-TOL's which were both new to the game.
Instead of doing the smart thing realizing with how much time they spent on the game up to that point then deciding to make the hard choice to thin the total number and types of aircraft out of the game for CV and BBV deployment they instead decided to go with their plane design count ((which was larger than both warship gunner 1 and warship commander aircraft total count combined) and skip on the detailed work they were known for on their payloads.
I ended up relying on my VLS missile systems along side my 8x turrets of quad 254mm 65 caliber cannons more than my strike craft and CAP interceptors sadly in warship gunner 2 where in both previous titles aircraft actually pulled their weight and did their damn job quite damn well..
If you happen t o want to play Warship Gunner 2 again, give Warship Gunner Portable a go instead. It's japanese only, but if you're familiar enough with the WSG2 interface, it's easy to navigate, with the occasional assistance from Google Translate. They buffed the aircraft a *ton* and you can viably run a carrier at least until the midgame, until you unlock good missiles and/or AGS, and then you can run it all game. There's also some other balance changes, some more modules and weapons, etc.

Should be released into EA soon, actually was (or maybe still is) available to being bought on their site, but it doesn't have regional prices on their site so too pricey for many.
I'm glad that UA:D exists, and there's plenty of room in the genre for more games! I don't think either of us is treading on the other's toes.
That said, definitely following this game after coming across it and seeing the very clear Warship Gunner influence. I wish best of luck to the development! So far looking very good, and looking forward to the game reaching a more finished state :)
