Dead players can, however, be put into borgs
They usually need to be piloted by a player
You just climb in and start controlling it with your movement keys.
Controllable robots are cyborgs which are controlled like a normal player character. But don't have hands (only a variety of tools), have special laws that they must follow at all times like "Do not harm the crew" (unless they have been hacked and granted hostile or silly laws) and also have access to every door by default.
But abusing that role to any capacity (including not following your laws) is an easy way to get banned from it.
