SS14 - WIZARDS DEN - Banned for rioting (rant, talking about the state of this game)

I was banned for a day for rioting, the admin told me that it was against the rules to riot but the rules don't acknowledge what the consequences of these punishments are: https://wiki.spacestation14.io/wiki/Server_Rules I see people riot all the damn time in-game without punishment, people self-antaging without punishment (and I usually ahelp it without admins replying to me for hours or even ever) it seems this whole game has turned into some kinda free-for-all anarchy admin power trip. (sorry for the angry rant, it's just really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying to see people get away with much worse) I agree that I should get banned for rioting (if it's truly not allowed, even though the rules are quite vague about rioting) but it seems that the rules don't really properly state anything when it comes to punishing individuals who have broken the rules leading to admins to make the judgement for punishments. I freaking love ss14 and it's concept but it seems to be a game that would be better off without rules to hold it back, (a bit like anarchy but with some small rules to keep people in check from doing horrible things, like a sandbox game) I understand this game is an RP game but it seems even the RP aspects of it hold it back from player's having fun. Wizard's Den has an extensive banning policy[docs.spacestation14.com] for admins.

Wizard Dens and all other servers admins are idiots. Just play another game unless you want to enter a lawsuit over 50 bans in 50 different sevrers for simply ''moving the armory to the bar''. Also they should fire the admins because permaban is not justified by roleplay actions (shouldnt ban a player based solely on goofiness). The ban should be in max a time out and not a ''YOU ARE OUT OF THE GAME FOREVER BAN'' (not like im a hacker or anything for that kind of punishment).

The admins think they own the game and can do whatever they want, i just laugh at them pretendin to know their own rules.

Bans are not actually permanent. Appeal-only bans require you to write a post about the ban and how you'll change your behavior. I would know as I've been appeal banned before and was unbanned a few days later.

Ban appeals or staff complaints happen on our forum, not on Steam Discussions: https://forum.spacestation14.io/ . This should be shown in the ban message.

I dont want to ban appeal for every ban. The moment i have to ban appeal for it to not be a permanent ban means that it is a permanent ban. I barely remember why i was banned in the last 6 servers. Whats worst its that his answer shows you can be banned forever and not even an appeal get you back in the game.

appeals aren't a get-out-of-jail free card, they're appeals - aka, you asking politely to be unbanned, and showing that you understand what you did wrong. the moderation team aren't obligated to accept these appeals, because that's not how appeals work in literally any context.
if you don't want a ban to be long-term, read the rules of the servers you play on.

Im a literal lawyer, do i have to question the rules every time in court? The servers are not even located inside my country...exactly the point im making about having this kind of moderation

You can trick admins very easily, i give you that. But whats even the point if the admins think they can judge people who play this game, and they are not even qualified judges. They are just gamers or programmers, they did the literal wrong university degree for moderation.

well uh I don't think that has anything to do with the platform they provide, I believe that the rules are quite all-over the place which is why the moderation seems a bit strange. the admins are definitely not at fault, they are simply just carrying out what they are told (even tough at times they do make their own decisions at times, which is a bit strange)

i literally talked to an admin in one of these servers that was an undergrad law student from Sweden, and he couldnt believe me when i tried to explain that foreigners could sue people in his country. And he was like nno non no in sweden we use our law, we dont let foreigners sue anyone in here.
