This involves backing up your edited NewCity level, uninstall/reinstall Maniac, and possibly backing up your in-game status too.
Read through this first to see if it makes sense.
On my system, I see that the editor saves the levels here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Maniac\Levels
The levels are saved as .txt files.
Take a look and see if the NewCity.txt file in that Levels folder is date stamped when you saved it. If it is, you could rename it to something like "Sankey84.txt". Then copy that text file to your desktop. To get the original NewCity.txt file back, you might need to uninstall/re-install Maniac. Then copy the Sankey84.txt file back into the Levels folder.
I think your in-game status is saved in here:
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\LocalLow\Transhuman Design\Maniac
I'm not sure if uninstalling will remove your game status as well, so you might want to back up that folder too and put it back in place after the re-install.
After you re-install Maniac, copy the Sankey84.txt file from your desktop and put it in the Levels folder.
When you go into editor, click "Load" and enter "Sankey84" to have it load the "Sankey84.txt" level file.
Thank you, I will give it a try
Just to let you know it worked Thanks for all your help.
