Do buff and debuff stack?
I like playing the voice faction and one of their most essential units is the Crla. Which can apply dmg debuff to the enemy and dmg buff to friendlies. I wonder can you stack these buffs and debuffs? The game allows me to put more than one buffs on the same unit. But I can't tell if they are stacking or not. Thanks!

Considering that buffs like arnor or attack from hero items do not stack I doubt cast ones do unless it is different sources. I tried the Cr'la attack buff plus the attack buff op plus the attack buff skill of the Sukodath Embrace and they did seem to stack.

Most buffs/debuffs stack as long as they are different types. For instance, accuracy aura from Commander stacks with other accuracy boosters (but accuracy cannot go above 100%) such as Engineer tuning for mechanical units (using tuning twice on the same unit does not stack though since it is the same effect). Different effects that increase base damage also stack...but damage is capped at a models maximum hit points (if a unit has 10 health and 5 models, it has 2 health per model so all attacks are capped at 2 damage against them) so it won't be as effective against multi-model units (a single rifle shot can only kill a single unit at a time even if it has been tremendously boosted, note that this damage cap happens before damage is adjusted for accuracy; that powerful rifle shot would still take on average 2 shots to kill something if it only has 50% accuracy regardless of whether it could also destroy a tank in 2 shots or 4).

However same type effects do not stack with themselves. After researching poison spears for Dragoons, attacking the same unit with multiple Dragoons will only apply poison once. However the unit can still be inflicted with other damage over time effects such as burning or corruption.

ok that make sense. i was wondering if i can stack dmg buff on from Crla on the same unit multiple times, then wouldn't take unit do insane amount of dmg? but it looks like the devs have thought of it.
