Annoying AI Behavior

AI tend to ally EVERYONE except a few to a SINGLE big alliance, and yes i am the one who got left behind.

Another terrible thing is that they are too easily manipulate by a good friend, i got declared war by the Alien for i don't know why reason, and then he turn all my trade partners against me, even the one who he first start war with, in the most desperate situation when his most powerful AI player ally come to crush me, i bribe her, and then i tell her to turn against him, she in the end destroy his last base, meanwhile she will do everything i ask her to, breaking everything relation she used to have with the other AI players, to this point i found the diplomacy a joke, when AI factions just listen to everything its best friend says, and tend to hate you for no reason when they are peace with everyone else.

This terrible diplomacy behavior turn to a true nightmare when the last war began, when the AI i bribed turn to allied with the Alien AGAIN ( I don't even know why the Alien would accept a person to be his ally when that person destroy your last home ) , and I don't know if this is a bug or not, but only the destroyed Alien faction has diplomacy option for me, the Zephon AI i have good relation with just stay " Regrouping " forever, but what's the most weird thing is that a AI player manage to side with Zephon while i got no diplomacy option at all, in the end i am forced to stand against the whole world because the Alien hate me and the Zephon can't be connected with, its all bearable till the Alien alliance( 3 AI player and two alien titans) decide to send all their troops against me and leave the Zephon alone, that's the moment i see no hope and just quit the game.

I only pick the the difficulty above medium but i feel like playing Total War with Very hard campaign when they all hate you and your are forced to fight the whole world on your own.

Might I interest you in a game called Gladius that has only war and no broken diplomacy?!

Yeah the diplomacy needs some fine tuning. on my current play-through half the factions including myself all joined into one big alliance and all the others factions were stuck on their own. It feels like most games are either too easy or the cards are too stacked against you.
