your game crashed so hard that i had to turn off my computer and when i turned it back on it was running different version of windows.

i had to do/am currently doing a system restore to a few days ago. once this finishes after a few hours i shall be deleting the game and won’t be reinstalling ever again.

Perhaps some background and system specs would help you out here as I've never even heard of such a crash before on any game, never mind this particular one.

I'm no techie but that sounds like the issue lies elsewhere and so diagnosing it properly rather than the game might help you address whatever issue you really have there. I haven't even had a boring, old, bog-standard crash in 90+ hours of time in game. Your crash sounds deadly serious and you definitely want to get to the root of the problem.

oh i figured it out. A FAQKING WINDOWS UPDATE at the same time the game had time the game crashed.

my laptop froze in limbo from 10 minutes before i turned it off. That unfortunately corrupted the update and my files forcing a simi fresh install.

Now. I say semi fresh install because i switched to using a external hard drive 3 years ago so i had all my RECENT stuff on the EHD and i copy my docs every month to the EHD so i ONLY lost 75% of my files on C.

the biggest thing is that it signed me out of EVERYTHING and reseted my task bar and i don't remember what i have to signed back into, what their passwords are, and what things did i have on the task bar. luckly for me i mainly use the bar for egde, steam, gog, starsector, cheat engine, and SC2 so not a huge lost.

So to sum this nonsense up: Faqk windows update.
